  • Daughter, father complete adventure visiting state parks

    A daughter and father completed a journey throughout Missouri, visiting over 42 Missouri state parks. During a stopover at the Cuivre River State Park, they shared what they have found about Missouri’s ‘hidden treasures’ on the over 1,400 mile adventure.     Jenna Christine Beckham, daughter of David and Lisa Beckham, of Silex, was awarded the second place trophy at the First Archery Tournament by the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri. Jenna had first qualified during Girl Scout Summer Camp 2013 at Camp Tuckaho. She then took part in the finals on May 18, 2014.
