    Troy Buchanan High Track Trojans got their girls’ track season off in impressive fashion winning the Fort Zumwalt West Invitational. They earned 165.5 points. Top performers included: 200 Meters: Rachel Sullivan (2nd, 26.69; Anna Sullivan (3rd, 27.5). 400 Meters: Rachel Sullivan (2nd, 1:02.56). 3200 Meter: Jane Boessen (1st, 13:37.40). 4×100 Relay: Troy (1st, 54.84).     Missouri turkey hunters have reason to be optimistic about the 2014 spring turkey season, according to the state’s turkey expert.     On Friday, March, 28, at 5 p.m., Winfield hosted Canton in Winfield’s first game of the 2014 season. The debut game went well for Winfield, with the Warriors winning by a final score of 2-0.     The first class of the Trojan Elite was announced at a recent game at Troy Buchanan High School. Three members of the first class (from left): Ben Chaney, Kyle Peasel and Casey Hopkins were present. Not present were Brian Alkire and Emily Crane.
