    Winfield boys soccer played a tough game against St. Charles West in scorching heat and lost 11-1. After suffering that loss, the Warriors bounced back early in their game against Canton with an early goal by Captain Brock Ziegiemeier. They lost 3-1.     After opening their softball season with a 13-2 loss to Louisiana, the Elsberry Lady Indians began a busy schedule. Elsberry first squared off against Bowling Green at home on Sept. 2.
