Soccer Warriors post shutout

Winfield Soccer Warriors opened up the season with a strong showing against University City High School, posting a 5-0 shutout.     Troy Buchanan’s Bubba Ellison crashes into the endzone in the opening quarter.

    An early turnover put the Troy Buchanan High Trojans into a hole as Fort Zumwalt South converted it into a touchdown en route to a 42-27 win in the season and conference opener.     Dillon Zumwalt rushed for over 90 yards in the IndianHawks’ win.
