The Silex FFA Trapshoot was held at Lolar Branch on Sept 20. Silex FFA Chapter helped host the shoot. Silex FFA got to take all seven squads to the shoots. The “A” Squad consisted of Taylor Eisenbath, Max Mehler, Joe Martin, Nick Bruns, and Nathan Wommack.   • Troy wins two volleyball matches

    All three levels earned wins against Fort Zumwalt South last night. Varsity won 25-17, 25-15. Freshman Emiley Cross had her breakout game of the season leading in kills for Troy with five. She also had two solo blocks. Stef Richterkessing followed with four kills, one solo block, one assisted block, and 15 digs.     Libby Marko is all smiles, rounding the bases after hitting this home run against O’Fallon Christian. She was also the winning pitcher as the Lady Warriors advance.

    The softball season ended Wednesday for the Elsberry Lady Indians with a 12-2 loss to Trinity in the district tournament. The Elsberry Lady Indians were hoping to put one last mark in the win column before heading into this year’s district.
