    Arianna Lynn Favignano, daughter of Joe and Allison Favignano turned four, January 12, 2015. She celebrated a magical Frozen theme birthday party at Playtime Party Center.     Across the nation, March is recognized as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. Every year a group of Missouri organizations (Missouri Association of County Developmental Disability Services, the Arc of Missouri, and People First of Missouri) along with Missouri Developmental Disabilities Council (MoDD Council) produce a poster and bookmark celebrating inclusion of people with developmental disabilities in everyday life.   • Poetry champ to move on to state

    Kara Wolf, a sophomore at Troy-Buchanan High School, was named the 2015 Northeast Missouri Poetry Out Loud Regional Champion at the regional finals held February 10 at the Hannibal Arts Council. Wolf recited “Thoughtless Cruelty” by Charles Lamb, “Piano” by D.H. Lawrence and “Try to Praise the Mutilated World” by Adam Zagajewski. The runner-up was Elva Moreno of Milan High School.
