    The Hawk Point Community Church will celebrate its 160th anniversary on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014.     Vera Arnhold was honored Sept. 21 at the 170th anniversary of the Old Alexandria United Methodist Church. Seventy years go Vera was 16 years old when the piano player, Maude Phelps suddenly passed away. Vera was called upon to play the piano at the church services.
