Silex R-I hosting Recycling Day for the public

Silex R-1 School is hosting a Recycling Day on January 10, 2015 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. This is a free service. The collection will take place in the elementary parking lot.     The Belton Cyber Pirates claimed top prize at the first-ever Troy Rotary Robotics Invitational hosted in conjunction with the Troy Middle School Technology Student Association (TSA) on December 13, 2014. The Rotary Club awarded the Cyber Pirates $1,000 for the Excellence Award at the tournament at the Ninth Grade Center.
