Buchanan Class of ‘75 reunion plans

Plans are underway for a 40-year class reunion. The date is set for Aug. 22, 2015, at Woods Fort Restaurant and Banquet Center.   • Young farmers attend Farm Bureau YF&R Leadership Conference

    Farm Bureau members from Lincoln County were among more than 500 young farmers attending the Missouri Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers (YF&R) Leadership Conference February 6-8. The conference, held at the Lake of the Ozark’s Tan-Tar-A Resort, was a time to learn from experts in agriculture and swap stories of life on the farm with fellow farmers.     A family movie opens soon in Missouri as part of 4-H’s partnership with Cyndi Willenbrock, author and producer of “Marshall the Miracle Dog” and founder of the Marshall Mentor program.   • Orange: color of hope for Gram Edwards benefit

    One year ago Elsberry Elementary student Gram Edwards was diagnosed with T-cell Leukemia. On Friday, Feb. 20, his school and his community is providing hope. In cooperation with the Elsberry School District, Silex School District, local businesses, students, teachers and staff, an “Orange Out the Night” will be held in conjunction with Senior Night.
