  • Mud volleyball tournament provide healthy outlet in fight against substance abuse

    Providing young people with fun, healthy alternatives to substance abuse has been the goal of the Drug Alcohol Reduction Team (D.A.R.T.) in Lincoln County and this week, the first of what is expected to be an annual event will be held.   • Honor Korean War era veterans with a brick

    Pictured is the Korean War Memorial bench located on the lawn at the Lincoln County Courthouse on Main St. in Troy. The bench was placed in 2012.

    Last fall saw a successful effort in the placement of a memorial for Korean War veterans in Lincoln County. This year, there is an effort to help recognize individual veterans who served their country during Korean War years (1950-1954).   • Department of Natural Resources hosting pesticide pickup in Troy

    The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will host an event May 18 in the Lincoln County town of Troy aimed at helping Missouri residents rid their homes and farms of unwanted pesticides and related chemicals.
