Two separate accidents resulted in injuries according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Two people were injured in an accident March 22 in Lincoln County on Meyer Road west of East Rock Springs at 9:54 p.m.
According to the report, Chad Phillips, 28, of Wright City, was driving a 2002 Saturn SC1 and swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle causing the Saturn to travel off the roadway and strike a tree. The other vehicle left the scene.
Phillips suffered minor injuries and a passenger, William Langle, 20, of Wright City, had moderate injuries. Both were taken by county ambulance to St. Joseph Hospital West at Lake Saint Louis. Neither was using a seat belt at the time of the accident.
In an accident March 25 at Highway 61 at I-70 at 12:25 p.m., Benjamin Artigas, 23, of Silex, suffered minor injuries. He was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph Hospital West.
According to the report, Artigas was driving a 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser when he struck the rear of a 2009 International Tractor driven by Christopher Jaycox, 51, of Ballwin. Artigas was not using a seat belt but Jaycox was at the time of the accident.
