Miss Teen Rodeo Missouri, Danielle Williams and Troy Rodeo Queen, Brook Faerber partnered together to help Lincoln County R-III elementary schools William Cappel, Claude Brown, Cuivre Park, Boone and Lincoln, celebrate Dr. Seuss Week.
Each day the queens read to students in grades kindergarten through 5th grade. The girls enjoyed reading a favorite Dr. Seuss book and answering questions from students.
Danielle said some of her favorite questions were “Do you live in the desert?” and “What inspired you to become a rodeo queen?” Brooke’s favorite questions were “Do you ride bulls?” and “Are you a sheriff?”. Danielle was especially excited for the opportunity to visit and reminisce with some of her elementary school teachers.
Danielle and Brooke graduated in May from Troy Buchanan High School and will continue their education this fall. Danielle will attend West Texas A&M University majoring in AG Communications. Brooke will attend William Woods University majoring in Equine Science with an emphasis on equine nutrition.
Danielle is the daughter of Paul and Dianne Williams of Moscow Mills; Brooke is the daughter of Bill and Roberta Faerber of Troy. Both girls are proud to represent Troy and all of Missouri. They will be promoting the great family sport of rodeo throughout the area.
