Posted on Monday, June 10, 2013 at 9:05 am

Grant Bicker of Troop 390 had his Eagle Court Ceremony on April 28, 2013 at the Cuivre River Electric building. Grant had to lead a project of peers and adults to become an Eagle. Grant chose to rebuild a bridge in Cuivre River State Park that was in need of being torn down. For two weekends the scouts and adults took the old bridge out and built a new one to replace it. Grant earned 41 Merit Badges in which only 21 are needed to become an Eagle. Grant has been active in the troop as a Patrol Leader and Chaplin. Dave Merriott former Scoutmaster of Troop 390 gave the Presentation of the Eagle Award to Grant. Old Den 4 (Jacob, Slade, Brendan and Grant) presented the Colors all four members have been together since Cub Scouts and all are now Eagles. Grant has summer plans that include going to Philmont in New Mexico for two weeks. He is going to work as a staff member for a week and then he is going to enjoy hiking, the highest adventure in Scouts! Grant is also a member of Order of The Arrow. He earned the Arrow of Light in Cub Scouts. Troop 390 wishes Grant the best of luck in his scouting adventure.
