Car seats made available by health department

Posted on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 11:36 am

The Lincoln County Health Department is pleased to bring back the Car Seats for Christmas program. Enter at the Lincoln County Health Department (5 Health Department Dr., Troy) for the chance to win one of 10 car seats. The drawing for the car seats will be held on Thursday, December 19 and these seats must be picked up on December 20. Class attendance and usual limitations are waived for this event.

The health department continues to offer its car seat program to residents of Lincoln County. The requirements for receiving a car seat are not income based but rather limited to custodial parents living in Lincoln County. There is a limit of one seat per child per safe seating position in the vehicle. Applicants for the program must complete a car seat education class prior to receiving a seat. These classes are generally held once a month. Contact the Lisa Sitler at the Lincoln County Health Department to sign up for a class or with any questions at 528-6117, ext. 405.
