Central Methodist athletes recognized for achievement

Over 300 Central Methodist University student athletes received awards and recognition for athletic accomplishments during the 2016-17 school year.
Central held its annual All-Sport Awards Ceremony in April.
The following CMU students from local areas received awards and recognition:
Ashley Brown, a sociology major from Silex , who lettered in softball.
Sarah Entwistle, a nursing major from Winfield, who lettered in women’s soccer.
Alexandra Hudelson, a business major from Old Monroe, who was honored with the Larry Anderson Multi-Sport Award.
Hannah Iborg, a nursing major from Troy, who lettered in softball.
Sierra Kolan, a biology major from Truxton, who lettered in women’s indoor and outdoor track and field.
Taylor Nealy, a nursing major from Troy, who lettered in women’s soccer.
Michelle Raines, a biology major from Hawk Point, who lettered in women’s soccer.
Kyle Sachs, an undeclared major from Troy, who lettered in men’s golf.
Kylie Thwing, an undeclared major from Troy, who lettered in women’s soccer.
CMU is a member of the Heart of America Athletic Association and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, and offers 14 different athletic teams.
