Chloe Momphard selected as fair queen

        Chloe Momphard.

Chloe Momphard, of Troy, was selected as the 2018 Lincoln County Fair Queen during coronation ceremonies July 7 held in Bonfils Auditorium. She was selected from a field of 11 candidates.

The first runner-up was Riley Sullivan, of Silex, with Kylie Niederer as the second runner-up. Niederer was selected by the candidates as Miss Congeniality. The other finalists in the queen contest were Laura Reid and Claire Lavy.

The winners of the special awards included Momphard and Jane Zuroweste, tied for Best Resume; Sullivan, Best Interview; Laura Reid and Sullivan tied for Best Evening Gown, Reid won the Talent portion and Sullivan was Miss Photogenic.

The Lincoln County 4-H King and Queen were also announced. They were Trenton Roth, Olney Blue Skies and Emilee Harris, Spring Branch Helping Hands. Selected as Clover Prince and Princess were Gavin and Camie Rose, members of the Hawk Point Hawks. This annually was a feature of the Share-The-Fun held  each April but that was not held this year.
