Moscow Mills Mayor Michael Clynch will not seek re-election but aspires to serve all of Lincoln County.
Clynch intends to file for the Republican nomination for presiding commissioner.
“I have been blessed enough to participate in Moscow Mills new growth,” he said. “However, I feel a calling to do more for my community and county at large. Lincoln County is facing multiple challenges that require a new approach to problem solving. There is no doubt that proven leadership creates positive change.”
Clynch cited recent growth in Moscow Mills including the planning, platting or building nearly 250 new homes; and welcoming five new small businesses. One goal he has if elected presiding commissioner, is continued work on Hwy. 61 improvements.
