The Lincoln County Missouri History and Families Bicentennial edition was delivered to the Lincoln County Genealogical Society on Feb. 9.
Betty Eppard, president, thanked everyone who pre-ordered a book for being patient and understanding in waiting for the book to be published and delivered. If you are picking up your copy, give the Society a call at 636-528-7551. They will try and work out a time for the book to be picked up. Plans are to make someone available on some weekends for those who can’t come during the week.
This exciting book features a historical timeline of Lincoln County and its communities from the 1800s through today, including histories of hundreds of county families. It includes over 700 historic photographs of life in Lincoln County, including about 400 family histories. The Society also expressed appreciation to the businesses, organizations, churches, clubs and schools that participated in making this book become a reality.
The book is bound in a luxurious burgundy leatherette cover with gold foil stamping its 8 ½ x 11 inches with 320 pages.
A limited number of extra copies are available so if you missed out on the pre-order sales there will still be some available, just call 636-528-7551.
