Murray State volleyball head coach David Schwepker is proud to welcome Courtney Huff to the 2014 squad.
The Troy, Mo. native is a recent graduate of Troy Buchanan High School, where she played for Coach Lane Cox in 2012 and 2013.
Huff is a four-year starter for Troy Buchanan and a two-time, first team All-Conference award winner. She was also a second-team All-District selection her senior year, when she broke the Trojans’ career kills record.
Speaking about Huff, Coach Schwepker said, “Courtney is a very powerful hitter earning numerous awards during her high school career at Troy Buchanan High School. She plays for a very good club team, Rockwood Thunder, so she will be bringing in a lot of experience and great technical training. I also believe her personality fits extremely well with our team and that, added with her great academic background, will make an excellent addition to our program.”
Huff was also a member of the Trojan track and basketball teams and will be studying nutrition in the fall.
Murray State University is located in Murray, Ky. and is a member of the Ohio Valley Conference competing in NCAA Division I.
