To re-enact events leading to the birth of Jesus, the First Christian Church of Troy will present their seventh Annual Drive Through Nativity on Sunday, Dec. 16 from 5 – 8 p.m.
Each year the church parking lot at 1302 West Boone Street becomes a pathway through Bethlehem as hundreds of luminaries guide visitors past the Stations of Christmas.
The community is invited to view the scenes as they enter the city gates. There is no charge and no donations are received. The presentation is for an outdoor worship experience.
Two guards will be at the city gates to greet you and direct your path which leads past shepherds abiding in the fields, a Bethlehem market, comfort my people, King Herod’s rich palace, the innkeeper, wisemen, a multitude of angles and manger scene.
Please mark your calendars for Sunday, Dec. 16 for the “Road to Bethlehem” trip. The gates are open from 5-8 p.m. It is the congregation’s hope that the Christmas Drive Through Nativity will help to make this a special season for you, your family and friends. If you have any questions, please call the church office during business hours at (636) 462-7711.
