Hawk Point Heritage Day is just six weeks away. Regulars anticipate the delicious fried chicken and homemade pies on Sunday, September 7. The theme this year is Happy Days. Many activities will be available throughout the day.
The day starts with a craft show and Community Church service in the park. There will be a car show for fair-goers to show off classic and antique autos. Local entertainment will be featured at a variety show, as well as the TBHS Jazz Band and the Fiddler’s Contest.
There will be old-fashioned games and a Kiddie Tractor Pull for the children, as well as an historic quilt display.
It’s election year, and the candidates will be on hand to address the crowds.
