A Lincoln County man was arrested last Tuesday for dealing drugs after he attempted to flee a Hawk Point police officer on foot.
Lance Nichales Pepper, 27, of the 150 block of W. Wood Street, Troy, is charged with felony delivery of a controlled substance in relation to the incident April 11. An arrest warrant was issued April 13. A $25,000 cash-only bond has been set.
The officer received a tip about a suspicious vehicle behind a gas station and upon his arrival, Pepper fled on foot. The officer eventually ran down the suspect in the back lot of city hall.
