She was the most giving and selfless person on earth. She was always thinking of others and sacrificing for them because she loved them so much. Talking about Heaven, she was glad and sad. Glad to be going there someday, but sad because she loved her family so much. She believed Acts 16:31 for the salvation of her family. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household”. A token of who she was, what she believed and what she lived. “Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” 1 Corinthians 13:7-8 NIV

Surviving are her beloved husband, Manny Oarga, of Troy; her three children: Keith and wife, Cindy Melancon, Jeannie and husband, Harold Counts and Alan Melancon Sr., all of rural Troy. She is further survived by her brother: William “Bill” and wife, Genola Hawkins, of Olney; five grandchildren: Aaron and wife, Desiree’ Hunter, Stephanie and husband, Zack Moore, Alan and wife, Christa Melancon Jr., Keith Melancon II, Aaron Rapcan and two adoring great-grandchildren: Dalaney and Addyson: other relatives and friends.
