Two people were injured in a three-car crash April 5 on Hwy. D north of Turkey Creek Road at 3:20 p.m., according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
According to the report, a 2000 Dodge Dakota driven by Vincent Owens, 25, of Hawk Point, was stopped in the lanes of traffic with a 1999 Ford Mustang driven by Micheala Denny, 18, of Warrenton, slowing for the Dakota. A 2007 Chrysler 300 driven by Ashley Huff, 21, of Montgomery City, struck the rear of the Mustang resulting in collision of all three.
Owens sustained minor injuries and Huff moderate injuries. Both were taken by ambulance to St. Joseph Hospital. All involved were not using seat belts at the time of the crash.
In a separate crash, Michael L. Huffman, 52, of Troy, was seriously injured April 7 on Hwy. 47 at Sycamore Creek. Time of the crash was 3:40 p.m. According to the report, Huffman was driving a 2007 Harley Davidson west on Hwy. 47 when he failed to slow for traffic, lost control and was ejected from cycle.
Huffman was flown by Air Evac to Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur.
On April 10 at 1:01 a.m. Brandon Gruntman, 21, of Troy suffered minor injuries on Hwy. 47 south of Hickory Hill Drive. Gruntman was driving a 2012 Yamaha R6 northbound on 47 when the cycle traveled off the right side of the roadway ejecting the driver.
He was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake Saint Louis.
