Don’t miss this production of Tony and Liz Tie the Knot at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Troy, on January 12, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. This is a great interactive performance that you won’t want to miss!

Every member of the audience is greeted and welcomed to the performance as if they are family and friends of the bride and groom. Audience participation is optional, but makes for a great improv performance.

Actresses, Julia Crump (playing Liz McLellan) and Mollie Amburgey (playing Chiara Trupiano) came out to sign autographs at The Wedding Shoppe on Main Street and to tell a little bit about the play. The two described the experience as being one of a kind and a fun way to meet new people while performing. This comical performance will keep you guessing at what will happen next as you get a glimpse at the life of an Italian family and the problems within.

In the play, there are 14 actors and actresses that take on many different age groups. They have performed this particular production, written by Susan Beradi, six times in St. Louis at The Gaslight Theater.

The production of Tony and Liz Tie the Knot will be even bigger than the six performances before it. With more room and extra scenes, this show is bound to get you out of your chair and participating on the dance floor.

Proceeds from the play will go to the local Resources 4 Autism organization. The fantastic costumes (tuxes and bridal attire) in the show were made by The Wedding Shoppe, located on Main Street, and the cake and cake pops were provided by Sweets To Remember as well as Sweet Celebrations. Troy Flower Shop made all the beautiful flower arrangements and ADI Photography took pictures and provided DJ services for the evening. There will also be a small silent auction to bid at to further help the cause.

Tickets are on sale now for the performance, don’t miss out on a chance to see a high quality play, good food, drinks and experience a lot of fun.
