Judy Compton-Juanita Lamparter-Theresa Moll-Daphne Runge

 Judy D. Compton (nee: Knight), of Winfield,, died on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the age of 67. She was the beloved daughter of the late Erwin and Josephine Knight; devoted mother of Gena Marie (James Ferguson) Compton and Amy (Doug Gale) Brda; mother-in-law of Tom Brda; loving stepmother of Todd (Terri) Compton and Dawn (Brian) Brodigan; adoring grandmother of Michelle, Marki, Blainey, Amber, Bubba, and Callie; cherished sister of Jacki (Tom) Tucker; dear aunt of Erin Ness and Megan Tucker. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Nursing was Judy’s life. She previously worked for 35 years at Children’s Hospital in the NICU, 13 years at Strictly Pediatrics, 7 years at AmHeart Hospice, and 7 years at Shriner’s Hospital.

The family is being served by The Baue Funeral and Memorial Center, 3950 West Clay Street, St. Charles, Mo. where visitation will be held Friday, May 10, 2013 4-8 p.m.. Funeral Service 12:00 PM, Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Baue Funeral and Memorial Center Chapel, 3950 West Clay Street, St. Charles, Mo. Interment St. Charles Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be made to Children’s Hospital NICU.


Juanita Lamparter, 61, of Wright City, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013 at her residence.  Visitation will be held Thursday, May 9, from 4-6 p.m. at the Pitman Funeral Home in Wentzville.

Ms. Lamparter worked for Green Clean Commercial in Chesterfield.


Funeral services for Theresa Dolores Moll, 74, of Troy, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2013 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.  Rev. David Klee, pastor of Foley Baptist Church in Foley, will officiate.

Ms. Moll, 74, passed away Thursday night, May 2, 2013 at St. Joseph West Hospital in Lake Saint Louis.

Born Jan. 13, 1939, in Winfield, she was the daughter of Raymond Adlai and Mildred Elizabeth Grigsby Kimberley.  She was a 1957 graduate of Winfield High School.

She worked for many years as an electronics engineer for McDonald Douglas Aircraft.

Survivors include one son, Robert Moll and his wife, Ruth, of Winfield; five grandchildren: Mark Moll, James Hassel, Robert Moll, II, Joseph Moll and Patricia Pettit; and four great-grandchildren: Ginny Pettit, Michael Pettit, Lilly Hassel and Bradon Elliot.  She also leaves one sister, Judy Lovelace and her husband, Wayne, of Elsberry, MO; one niece, Kim Young of Elsberry; one nephew, Rob Lovelace and his wife, Janet, of Elsberry; other relatives and many, many friends.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the time of service at 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2013 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.

Daphne Runge

Mrs. Daphne “Bambi” Runge, 42, of Winfield, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 3, 2013. She was the only child of Margo (Heslip) and Larry Neice and was born on Sept. 22, 1970 at Langley Air Force Base, Va. Bambi was an Air Force “brat” who lived in many states while growing up. She met her future husband, Steve Runge, while living in New Mexico. He was also serving in the U.S. Air Force. After a short courtship, the couple was married, later moving to Woodson Terrace, Mo. Together they raised their four sons: Steve, Tom, Jon, Jack and their only daughter, Michele. Bambi was a stay-at-home mom until her children were in school. The family moved to Moscow Mills for Steve’s work many years ago and enjoyed country living. Bambi liked working as a glass bead artist and had her own business called Alley Cat Glass. During much of this same time, Bambi also worked at Ameristar and met many wonderful people. The Runge family lived on a small farm and raised chickens, horses, dogs, cats and almost any other four-legged creatures. They also had a garden which helped feed the moles, rabbits and squirels along with their family. She was a hard worker and loyal friend. Bambi’s main goal in life was being a good wife, mother, daughter and friend to many. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Surviving are her beloved husband of over 25 years, Steve Runge, of Winfield; her children: Steve and wife, Brie Runge and their son, Isaac Ruiz, Tom Runge, Jon Runge, Jack Runge and Michele Runge and her fiance, Trent Kreder; her mother, Margo and husband, John, of Calif.; her father, Larry and wife Willa Neice of Smith Station, Ala.; her mother-in-law: Carolyn Runge of Troy; her sister-in-law:, Laurie and husband Tim Lowery; her brothers: Mike Runge and wife Sharon Lowery and Richard Runge; her special friend of over 18 years, Paula Rutkowski of Crestwood; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law: Warren Runge.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2013 from 2-8 p.m. at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral & Cremation Ctr, 1304 Boone St., Troy, Mo.

Funeral mass will be held at 1 0 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the Sacred Heart Church, Troy. Fr. Tom Wissler to officiate.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Runge Childrens’ Fund, c/o McCoy-Blossom Funeral & Cremation Ctr, Troy location.


Candace Kaye Wright, 53, of Warrenton, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2013, at her residence.

She was born on May 22, 1959, in Troy, a loving daughter of John W. and Helen B. (Twiehaus) Wright.

Candace graduated from Wright City High School in 1977. She was employed for Charleswood for 19 years and later MEMC. She enjoyed collecting rocks, Native American items, making cards and scrapbooking.

She is survived by her significant other of 38 years, Wallace Kersting of Warrenton;  daughter, Randi Wright of Nashville, Tenn.; one brother, Greg Moore and wife, Shannon,  of Stoutsville; one sister, DeLoris Keller, of St. Charles; niece, Tanya Moore; nephews, Travis Moore, Keith Kersting, Leon Reeder and J.J. Kersting, and friends.

Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Kemper-Marsh-Millard Family Funeral Home/ Hawk Point Chapel (41 Farm Lane Hawk Point.  Funeral services will be  held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the chapel. Interment will follow in the Hawk Point City Cemetery.
