Kindergarten registration for the Elsberry schools will be held on the following dates and times:
March 10 – 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
March 11 – 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. *Late Night
March 12 – 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Registration will be held in the Elementary Building at 188 Tomahawk Drive Elsberry, Room 206 (Parents as Teachers).
Children do not have to be present at time of registration. You will need to bring your child’s Social Security card, a copy of the child’s birth certificate, the child’s shot record, and proof of residency (consisting of a bill, or tax statement, etc.). If you need to get a copy of your child’s birth certificate, go to the Lincoln county Health Department. Children will not be able to attend school until all of the above information has been turned into the office. When you call for registration, a time to screen your child will be given. If your child has been screened already this school year, they will not need to be screened. Those screening days are March 13 and 14.
According to the Missouri Department of Education children must be five years of age before Aug. 1, 2014 to attend Kindergarten for the 2014-2015 school year. If your child is not five years of age by August 1, 2014, he/she will be required to wait until next year to attend kindergarten. Any questions please call, 572-898-5554 ext. 257 or 215.
