A 19-year-old Lincoln County man is facing two domestic violence charges stemming from an incident with a female acquaintance around Feb. 8.
According to the probable cause statement, the suspect identified as Travis S. Lewis, of Mesa Court, Wright City, grabbed the victim and drug her to the floor during the alleged incident. He also stabbed her in the left leg with a pocket knife, police reported.
The assault was reported to Lincoln County deputies on Feb. 23. A partially healed laceration on the female victim’s leg was observed, as well as areas on her head where hair was missing, according to the probable cause statement.
