Mrs. Lou W. Mennemeyer, 81, of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, Dec.18, 2012, at Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy, surrounded by her beloved family.
Lou was born on August 31, 1931, in Old Monroe, the child of Frank and Clara Henningfeld. After attending the local schools, she married the love of her life, Marvin Mennemeyer, on May 8, 1951, in Old Monroe. To this beloved union five children were born, Richard, Linda, James, Kathy, and Roger.
Lou was very active in her church, Sacred Heart Church of Troy and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and St. Ann’s Sodality.
. Lou is survived by her husband of 61 years, Marvin Mennemeyer, of Troy; her children: Richard and wife, Natalie Mennemeyer, Linda Kirchoff and friend, Jerry Kiefer of O’Fallon, James Mennemeyer and friend, Debbie Brown, of Troy, Kathy and husband, Ron Daniels, of Troy, Roger and wife, Ronda Mennemeyer, of Troy; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; one brother, Victor and wife Donna Henningfeld; one sister, Frances McMenamy, other relatives and friends.
Visitation is being held on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012 from 4 until 8 p.m. at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral & Cremation Center at 1304 Boone St.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, Dec 21, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Troy. Father Tom Wissler will officiate. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Troy.

Jerry Primeau, 70, of Troy, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at St Joseph West Hospital in Lake Saint Louis.
Jerry was born on March 30, 1942, in St. Charles to Gilbert and Lucille (Dickherber) Primeau. After attending the local schools, he met and later married Ruth (Kallenbach) in 1966 in St Charles. To this union were born two children: Monica and Brett.
Jerry was self-employed for over 35 years with Superior Water Conditioning in Troy. Ruth and Jerry were active members of First Capitol Squares, Show Me Little Equine Club, Arabian Horses Assoc. and Therapeutic Horsemanship. Working as a volunteer judge and announcer for Therapeutic Horsemanship his powerful voice and personality were always valued. His cheerful and generous nature made him a pleasure to be around.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ruth Primeau, of Troy, his son: Brett Primeau and wife, Robin, of Warrenton; one daughter: Monica Primeau and fiancee, David Seckel, of Foley, his mother: Lucille Primeau of St. Charles,: four grandchildren and three brothers: David Primeau and wife, Joyce, of St. Peters, Wayne Primeau and wife, Tish, of St. Charles, Donald Primeau and wife, Tammy, of St. Charles, and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012 from 2-3 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home & Cremation Center 1304 Boone Street Troy.
A memorial service will be held on Sat Dec 22, 2012 at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Deacon Pete Gounis will officiate.
