Mary Giles passed away on Sunday July 14, 2013, in Troy at Lincoln County Medical Center.
Mary had worked in secretarial positions at Emerson Electric and Monsanto.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Sgt. Daniel “Butch” Maguire, Jr., 29, of Macon, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2013, at the Samaritan Hospital in Macon.
Daniel was born on March 30, 1984, in Florissant, the son of Daniel Andrew Sr. and Carol Ann (Felkel) Maguire.
He served his country as a sergeant in the Army National Guard and was an Iraqi war veteran. Daniel was united in marriage to Tiffany Cannon on Nov. 21, 2007, in Macon.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on cars, was very mechanically inclined.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Tiffany, of Macon; his daughter, Lilly Maguire; his son, Daniel Andrew Maguire the III; his parents, Daniel Andrew Maguire, Sr. and his wife, Carol (Felkel), of Elsberry; maternal grandmother, Anna Lou Felkel, of Alton, Ill.; his sisters, Nichole Seifert and her husband Kristopher, of Belle, Tiffany Grasser and her husband Scott, of St. Peters, Aubrey Tapley and her husband, Erin, of Elsberry, Jessica Mack and her husband Cory, of Ballwin, Lindsey Maguire, of Elsberry, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and in-laws.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 19, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Hutton and McElwain Funeral Home in Macon. Burial with full military honors will be at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, Mo. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. till the time of service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the funeral home in honor of the family members.
