Lincoln County Master Gardeners are excited this 2017 school year to offer another $500 scholarship to a graduating senior.
It is their mission to help foster a senior’s secondary education and eventually an exciting career in the agricultural or horticultural field.
Any senior graduating this year in the Lincoln County area, public, private or home schooled, is eligible to apply. Preference will be given to those applicants with prior agricultural or horticultural experience and/or completed coursework and plan to pursue a secondary education in the field.
Completed applications can be mailed, emailed or submitted in-person to the Extension Center, located at 880 West College, Troy, MO 63379.
The application can be obtained from the high school counselors in Lincoln County or on the Lincoln County Master Gardeners Facebook page or on the extension office’s website.
The deadline for receiving applications is April 14 by 5 p.m. If any questions, please call 636-528-4613.
Let Lincoln County Master Gardeners share an educational opportunity with you, so you can later share your knowledge to our community and be a success in your career!
Extension programs are open to all.
