Missouri Right to Life to hold Prayer Vigil

Posted on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 8:18 am

The Lincoln County Chapter of Missouri Right to Life will sponsor their annual non-denominational Pro-Life Prayer Vigil this year on Friday evening, January 17, 2014. This year the Prayer Vigil is hosted by Trinity Lutheran Church, 1307 W. Boone St., Troy, and will begin at 7 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the Prayer Vigil will be rescheduled to Friday evening, January 31.

All are invited to join a number of area pro-life churches for song, prayer, inspirational messages, and refreshments as we mark the sad 41st anniversary of the legalization of abortion. Since 1973, over 55 million unborn children have lost their lives at the hands of abortionists.

On Monday, January 13, at 11 a.m., please join MRL chapter members and the Lincoln County Commissioners at the County Courthouse as the annual Pro-Life Proclamation is signed. This Proclamation honors our preborn sisters and brothers lost to their families and communities over the last 41 years.

Lincoln County residents are asked to make a difference by their prayers and actions in helping to return our nation to a culture of Respect for Life.

For information on chapter activities, please call Chairperson Betty Westhoff at 636-566-8444. The next chapter meeting is at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Troy on Tuesday, February 25, at 7 p.m.
