There are ‘drive-throughs in our lives. How often do we use this concept at banks, fast food restaurants, pharmacies, car washes, etc. Now, there is an opportunity where Christians are available to assist one in prayer and lend a shoulder in coping with life’s pressures.
On Oct. 22 from 5-7 p.m., prayer teams at the New Galilee Christian Church will be available in the church’s parking lot off Hwy. 47 (between Troy and Winfield) where motorists can pull in and prayers will be offered.
“Prayer team members will come to the car and pray and listen at whatever may be of concern,” said Norma Guyot. “The church is looking for ways to reach out and this seemed like a great effort. People may stay in the comfort of their vehicle.”
Drive-through prayer ministries are becoming more popular in providing a relaxed, genuine comfort when live takes a wrong turn.
