A Memorial service for William Tony Turner, 77, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Clarksville, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2009, at the New Hope Baptist Church near Elsberry.  Rev. John Zellmer, church pastor, will officiate with inurnment in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis. 
Mr. Turner died Wednesday morning, November 4, 2009, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Phoenix. 
Born June 22, 1932, in Clarksville, he was the son of Loyal and Aretta Herrington Turner, Sr.  He was united in marriage on November 12, 1962 in France to Odette H. Fournial. 
He was a retired firefighter for the United States Air Force.
