Most recently, LCMC insituted a state-of-the-art, computerized medical database that makes health information easily available to physicians and nurses at the point of patient care-at your bedside, at our clinics, and even for our home care service providers. No other facility in the area offers a more accurate and secure medical records system than LCMC. LCMC offers a full array of outpatient services and procedures-procedures that just 20 years ago could have required an overnight stay in the hospital. Our outpatient services include: an on-site mammography unit; CT scanner and diagnostic services; on-site MRI unit Monday through Friday; advanced laser surgery techniques and equipment; and cardiopulmonary, nuclear medicine, rehabilitation, home care, physical thereapy, occupational therapy, radiology and laboratory support teams.

EMERGENCY SERVICES

When you are involved in a medical emergency, two factors affect your chances for recovery more than any others; the availability of skilled medical professionals, and time. At Lincoln County Medical Center, our emergency team is comprised of highly trained, caring individuals to serve as your first line of care in any emergency situation-twenty-four hours a day. Our new emergency facilities feature trauma treatment rooms in a completely private setting, allowing us to provide emergency care with the professionalism and dignity you deserve. While no area hospital qualifies as a Level I Trauma Center, an on-site helicopter service provides transport for critical patients directly to St. Louis metropolitan emergency centers. We offer a full team of on-call doctors, nurses and emergency medical personnal. LCMC is also a member of the Cardinal Glennon Regional Poison Control Network.
