Three Tae Kwon Do students at NMACA in Troy recently took their martial arts training to the next level.
After weeks of preparation this summer, Jamie York, 13, Madison Philipak, 13 and Tiffany Loless, 16, each earned their black belts.
Instructor J.R. Baker said the students began intense training two times a week for three hours a night in May to prepare for the black belt test.
