Lincoln County Medical Center (LCMC) Urgent Care-After Hours is opening in Troy on June 1. Conveniently located at Lincoln County Medical Center, 1000 E Cherry Street, the center is equipped to handle minor, non-emergent medical issues, saving residents from driving more than 20 miles to other urgent care locations.
A Troy Area Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting is planned for 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 30 followed by an open house until 6 p.m. Bring the entire family to tour of the center, visit with staff, enjoy food and beverages, face painting, complimentary gift and enter to win a $100 Wal-Mart gift card. Members of the public are invited to the event.
Urgent Care – After Hours provides a more convenient and lower cost for high-quality, reliable treatment operating on a walk-in basis treating minor, non-emergent illnesses and injuries. Lab and x-ray services are available on site.
The center offers treatment for a wide range of minor injuries and illnesses in children and adults, such as strains and sprains, minor cuts and lacerations, cold and flu symptoms, nausea and vomiting, rashes, and insect bites. Sports physicals for children participating in camps and schools will be provided for a small fee. Outpatient laboratory and radiology services will be provided along with treatment of non-emergency injuries.
LCMC Urgent Care – After Hours will be open evenings and weekends 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. No appointments are necessary. Most major insurance plans are accepted. For more information, visit www.lcmctroy.com/urgentcare.
