PALS Pet of the Week

Posted on Monday, February 10, 2014 at 8:32 am

The first thing you will notice on Blue is her eyes – left eye is ice-blue & her right is brown. Blue is a Labrador Retriever/Siberian Husky mix. She was born 2/18/13. An older gentleman acquired her through a neighbor that had puppies. But as she has grown, she lacked the pack leader that she required. Although she did spend time inside his home, most days were spent tied up outside. Smart & full of energy & stamina – Blue would benefit from lots of exercise & obedience training – she has every bit of willingness, love & need to please in her. Just show her the way. Blue’s current weight is 44#. At 9 mo. old, she should be 80% of her adult size. She is so loving. Crate trained, too. Our $150 adoption fee includes a comprehensive veterinary care package, and lots of love from our volunteers. You can view Blue and all our pets online at . We have a large assortment of wonderful dogs and cats from which to choose. Please stop by the shelter and give a great companion a loving home. Check out our website for upcoming fundraisers and adoption events. We are a non-profit, no-kill shelter so your support is greatly needed and appreciated so that we may continue to help the animals.
