PALS Pet of the Week

Posted on Monday, June 16, 2014 at 9:39 am

Benny is a Mitted (see his white paws) Gray Tabby with white, Domestic Short Hair boy. At 15.5 lbs., he is a big boy! He was stuffed into a crate, and left at our front door in the middle of the night; that was over a year ago. He “talks” to the volunteers when singled out for attention, and likes to have you smooth his fur. Benny is a great cat – as he loves people and showing affection – he lives in one of our community cat rooms and tolerates the other cats (secretly hoping one day he will have his own home, forever). Our veterinarian believes he was born about 9/1/06. Benny’s Lonely Hearts Club Special Adoption Fee of $30 includes a comprehensive veterinary package, and lots of love from our volunteers. You can view Benny and all our pets online at We have a large assortment of wonderful dogs and cats from which to choose. Please stop by the shelter and give a great companion a loving home. Check out our website for upcoming fundraisers and adoption events. We are a non-profit, no-kill shelter so your support is greatly needed and appreciated so that we may continue to help the animals. For more information on adopting Benny, or any PALS pet, donating, or volunteering, please call the shelter at 636-338-1818.
