PALS Pet of the Week

Posted on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 8:45 am

Camo is a darling dog that came with strings attached – that is – a shoe string, to be exact. In the dark of night, he was tied up by his neck with a shoe string at our shelter fence. Our shelter volunteer arrived in the morning, to find this poor guy choking and terrorized. That was a few weeks ago. Since that discovery, it was found that Camo had a microchip – could he have a loving family, missing him? No – turned out he was given away free on the internet, to someone unknown. Camo – such a sad road he has had, and for such a young guy, too, Born 12/7/09, he is believed to be a Bullmasador – that is a Bullmastiff/Labrador Retriever. He is black with a splash of white on his chest, and weighs in at a large 72 lbs. Camo listens well to your wishes, he is crate trained, prefers to go to the bathroom outside, friendly with other dogs, so playful – loves to play ball – and generally laid back. He greets everyone with affection and enthusiasm. Our $150 adoption fee includes a comprehensive veterinary care package, and lots of love from our volunteers. You can view Camo and all our pets online at . We have a large assortment of wonderful dogs and cats from which to choose. Please stop by the shelter and give a great companion a loving home. Check out our website for upcoming fundraisers and adoption events. We are a non-profit, no-kill shelter so your support is greatly needed and appreciated so that we may continue to help the animals.
