PALS Pet of the Week

Posted on Monday, October 15, 2012 at 9:09 am

Look into these eyes and you see a lovely, gray and white tuxedo cat, named Lela. Lela has long legs, a silky coat, and an imposing silhouette that may have some Siamese in the mix. She is shy but affectionate, and will talk to you about how glad she is to see you. Lela has had to deal with some problems with her hips, but is symptom free when she doesn’t have to jump far to achieve her goals. An exchange of mutual affection is her idea of a perfect moment, and a quiet household her preferred realm. Lela was born 2/1/11, and is litter box trained. Our $55 adoption fee includes a comprehensive veterinary care package, lots of love from our volunteers, and a free bag of Science Diet Adult Cat food. You can view Lela and all our pets online at . We have a large assortment of wonderful dogs and cats from which to choose. Please stop by the shelter and give a great companion a loving home. We have an upcoming fundraiser Trivia Night being held in Old Monroe at the KC Hall, on Oct. 19 at 6:30 pm. Check out our website for more information  and other events. We are a non-profit, no-kill shelter so your support is greatly needed and appreciated so that we may continue to help the animals. For more information on adopting Lela, or any PALS pet, donating, or volunteering, please call the shelter at 636-338-1818
