Abby is a German Shepherd Mix, that arrived at our shelter on 5/3/13, near death due to starvation & dehydration. Abby came to us a dangerous 35 lbs – she was in shock & shutting down. With time & lots of food & water, she slowly gained her strength & weight – (she’s about 65 lbs. now). Our veterinarian believes she was born about 5/7/11. She is so happy & friendly with everyone – her tail is always wagging! Abby is happy & quiet – she never barks! She loves the freedom of a fenced yard – she will require that for her safety. Abby does like to “cat chase”, so a home without cats would be necessary. She loves to play with toys, prancing around the yard, & being with people. Abby is crate & house trained, & very respectful of her surroundings. Our $150 adoption fee includes a comprehensive veterinary care package, and lots of love from our volunteers. You can view Abby and all our pets online at . We have a large assortment of wonderful dogs and cats from which to choose. Please stop by the shelter and give a great companion a loving home. Check out our website for upcoming fundraisers and adoption events. We are a non-profit, no-kill shelter so your support is greatly needed and appreciated so that we may continue to help the animals.
