Admissions Workshops are scheduled for Thursday, February 14 and March 14 at 1 p.m. at Pike-Lincoln Technical Center (PLTC) on the Pike Co. R-III (Clopton) School campus. The Clopton School is located on Hwy. WW about eight miles from Hwy. 61, or 25 miles north of Troy and 15 miles south of Bowling Green. This workshop is required for adults with a high school diploma or GED, who may want to enroll in a daytime class at Pike-Lincoln. The attendees will learn about different types of financial aid available to assist them with their educational costs and complete a few short assessments. Please allow two hours for the completion of this workshop.
Testing and application files must be complete by March in order to schedule an interview and selections for the 11-month PN program will be made in April. Accepted and alternates must attend and pass a two-week math class in July to be eligible to start program in August. Students interested in other PLTC daytime classes with openings generally may enroll at the beginning of each month.
The following daytime classes are offered at PLTC: Administrative Business Technology, Auto Collision, Auto Services, Computer and Networking Technology, Diesel Technology, Digital Design, Paramedic, Practical Nursing and Welding.
