Public Water Supply Dist. 2 of Lincoln County began the start of their sewer project with a groundbreaking ceremony. Participating in the project included (from left): Steve Brune, Boonslick Regional Planning Commission; Matt Jaspering and Brandon Kurtz, Lewis-Bade; Elsie Cockrell, district director; Charlie Day, district board president and Tina Sharp, district clerk. The first phase includes placement of 2,200 linear feet of line adding service to over 20 members. The district is working with the City of Troy in this project. Some of the work is being done at the intersection of Hwy. 47 and Fairgrounds Road.
