Resurfacing operations to begin on roads in Lincoln County

Weather permitting, the week of July 8, MoDOT and its contractor, Pace Construction Co., LLC, will begin milling and resurfacing almost 42 miles on Routes Y, E, and H in Lincoln County and MO 161 in Montgomery County.

On Monday, July 8, crews will begin working on Route Y from Route W to MO 79 near Foley, and then will move to Route E from Route UU in Silex to US 61 and Route H from Route E south junction to MO 47 in Troy all in Lincoln County. Weather permitting, the week of July 15, crews will be working on MO 161 in Montgomery County resurfacing from Route M to MO 19.

Work will be done primarily Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. through July. During working hours, one lane of traffic will be allowed by following a pilot car to take motorists through the work zone. Minor delays should be expected. Motorists may encounter rough and uneven pavement at times during construction. The road will be opened to two lanes at the end of each work day. This work is weather dependent and could be delayed or rescheduled.
