The following is a list of general highway construction and maintenance scheduled for October 9-19.This work will include lane closures and at times delays can be expected. All work is weather dependent and could be delayed or rescheduled.
Crews will be working during daylight work hours unless otherwise indicated. With the exception of some short-term maintenance work on various low traffic volume roads, all roadwork is posted on the traveler information map daily. Motorists are encouraged to check the online map at www.modot.org for new work zones each day. MoDOT also offers messages sent directly to your email when roadwork is scheduled. US 61 at South Lincoln Drive – Interchange at South Lincoln Drive in Troy; 1% complete – Utility work in progress off of right of way, clearing and prep work on outer road; No traffic impact until Spring 2013. Contractor – Iron Mountain Trap Rock; estimated completion: Spring 2014.
MO 47 – Resurface driving lanes and shoulders from east of Troy to Winfield; grading scheduled for Oct. 8-16; Estimated Completion: Fall 2012; Contractor G & M Concrete and Asphalt; Troy Project Office-Resident Engineer Rick Domzalski
US 61 – Pavement repair and resurfacing north and southbound lanes from just north of Route OO in Pike Co. to Route B, work is completed
US 61 – Resurface northbound lanes and shoulders from south of Eolia to Route K/V; work is completed
Route H – Bridge rehabilitation at Cuivre River Bridge north of Troy. 0% complete – Inactive-Road to close Oct. 15 at 7 a.m. for 3-4 weeks; detour over MO 47, US 61 and Route E. Contractor-Lehman Const. Estimated completion: mid-November 2012.
US 61 – Oct. 8-11 one lane traffic southbound from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at various locations from South Lincoln Drive at Troy to Route U south of Moscow Mills for concrete repairs.
Various Routes – Oct. 8-19 possible intermittent lane closures or slow moving vehicles blocking driving lane for surface and/or roadside maintenance operations in various locations.
