Robert “Bob” Wayne Ingram, Sr., 59, of Hawk Point, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at St. Joseph West Hospital in Lake Saint Louis.

He was born June 10, 1953, in St. Charles, a son of B.F. and Catherine (Pugh) Ingram. Bob was united in marriage to Diane Duff on May, 18, 1974, at the St, Mary’s Catholic Church. To this union three children were born.

Bob attended Troy Buchanan High and was employed for SAF Holland for 38 years, as a shipping and receiving clerk. He was a charter member of the Hawk Point VFW Men’s Auxiliary and volunteered at the Hawk Point Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years: Diane Ingram, of Hawk Point; children: Robert “Robbie” Ingram, Jr., of Hawk Point, Karen Holmes and husband, Andrew, of Truxton, and Rickie Ingram of Hawk Point; four sisters: Joyce McFadden, of Kansas, Joann McFadden and husband, Lonnie of Defiance, Linda Layman and husband, Tom, of Kansas, Debbie Miles and husband, Stuart, of Kansas; four grandchildren: Mark, Kileigh, Alyssa and Alyvia Holmes; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Friends will be received from 4 to  8 p.m. on Monday, April 8, 2013 at Kemper-Marsh-Millard Family Funeral Home / Hawk Point Chapel, 41 Farm Lane Hawk Point.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on April 9, 2013,  at the Hawk Point Chapel.  Officiating the service will be Rick Ingersoll.. Interment will be held at Hawk Point City Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Lincoln County Relay For Life.

Lois L. Martin (nee Thrasher), of Troy, was born April 23, 1942  and passed away on March 30, 2013

She was the dear Mother of Kathleen Copeland, Carolyn Willmore, Larry Copeland and Jack (Angie) Martin. Dear Grandmother of 13; Great-grandmother of five and Great-great grandmother of one. Dear sister of Glen (Joyce) Thrasher, Jerry Thrasher, and Dale (Judy) Thrasher.

Lois will now be with her father, Lester L. Thrasher and mother, Fannie Pearl Thrasher; brother, Edward (Gloria) Thrasher; and grandson, Austin D. M. Martin.

Lois worked at Shop-n-Save in O’Fallon, Mo., where she retired in 2008.

During her life, Lois chose to have her earthly remains gifted to further help mankind.

In lieu of flowers, please provide donations on behalf of Lois to the following organizations of your choice; Ciliac Sprue Association, American Lung Association, American Heart Association, Alzheimer’s Association, National Body Donor Program, National Psoriasis Foundation.

There will be a day of remembrance and a celebration will be held for Lois at The Abundant Life Baptist Church, 21 S. Ridge Rd.,  Troy, Mo. 63379 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013.


Nancy Lou Meyer, a resident of Winfield, passed away March 29, 2013 at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital at the age of 55 years.

She was born November 12, 1957 in St. Louis, Mo., to Charlie Leach and Verna (Sullivan) Leach, who preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by one brother, Eddie Leach.

She was married to David C. Meyer, Sr., who survives. Other survivors include: two children, David Meyer, II, of Winfield, and Samantha Nytes, of Moscow Mills; nine grandchildren; five brothers, Duane Leach and David Leach, both of the state of California, William Leach, of the state of Kansas, Clyde Leach, of Arcadia, and Charlie Leach, Jr., of Pilot Knob; one sister, Lillian McDonald, of Ironton; and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 2, at 11 a.m. at White Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Hagerty officiating.  Interment will be in Polk Cemetery, Arcadia, Mo.  A visitation was held Monday, April 1, from 5-8 p.m. at White Funeral Home in Ironton.
