On Oct. 1, detectives with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man in Troy after he confessed to having long-term sexual contact with a female child who was under 15 years old.
According to a release from the sheriff’s office, 41-year-old Lloyd Bacon is charged with two counts of felony statutory rape, four counts of felony statutory sodomy and one count of felony child molestation.
The investigation was launched after a family member observed Bacon touching the victim inappropriately and notified law enforcement. The incident occurred in the first block of Port Au Prince in Troy.
Bacon confessed to investigators of long-term sexual contact with the child starting in June. According to investigators, he told the victim not to tell anyone of the sexual contact or he would “go to prison for a long-time.”
Bacon is currently housed in the Lincoln County Jail under a $75,000 cash only bond.
