A Troy man is facing second-degree burglary and stealing charges after authorities said he stole a Harley Davidson motorcycle valued at $25,000 from a shed and spray painted it red to disguise it.
According to the probable cause statement, David Lee Daniels, 43, of the first block of Cave Farm Road in Troy, was caught on surveillance camera footage going with another male subject to a local Walmart to purchase multiple cans of red spray paint.
After reviewing the surveillance camera footage, detectives tracked down Daniels and found the stolen motorcycle, which was originally painted black, inside a shed belonging to a relative of Daniels.
