Thomas Bond Jr.- Charles Hulsey

Thomas Oscar Bond Jr., 69, of Troy, passed away on Monday, Oct. 22, 2012.

He was born on October 27, 1942, in St. Louis, the son of Beulah and Thomas Oscar Bond Sr.

After attending the local schools, he worked as a contractor in the construction field.

He is survived by his significant other of 21 years, Brenda Mack, his children, Jason Bond, of Fulton; step-son, Bradley Mack, of Rolla, Tonya (John) Huskey, of Fulton, and Julie (Codi) Hobson of Troy; his mother, Belulah Zwicky of St. Charles, seven grandchildren, and one on-the-way, one brother, John Bergermier of St. Charles, three sisters: Sharon Traw, of New Truxton, Lynn (Lynn) Beliew of St. Peters, Cynde (Jim) Huber of Silex, and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will  be held on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, 7:00 p.m., at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1304 Boone Street, Troy. Friends and family may visit our website at to sign the on-line guest register.


Charles Edward “Chuck” Hulsey, 80 of Troy, passed away Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at Lincoln County Nursing and Rehab, Troy.

The son of Tom and Virgie (Hudson) Hulsey, he was born July 9, 1932, at Hackleburg, Ala. On Nov. 24, 1951, at Coloma, Mich., he married Avila “Vi” Arndt, who survives.

Also surviving him are: three daughters, Charlene Hulsey Harbin, of Coloma, Mich., Shirley Baker and, husband, Brandon of Holland, Ohio, and Diane Anglin and husband, Barry of Florissant; one son, Randy Edward Hulsey and wife, Michelle of Foristell; seven grandchildren, Amy DeLeeuw, Rachel Wright, Ryan Harbin, Graham Baker, Ariel Anglin, Shelby Anglin and Shane Hulsey; four great-grandchildren, Lillie and Rose DeLeeuw and Skyler and Abigail Wright; and one sister, Dorothy Crow of St. Joseph, Michigan.

Mr. Hulsey was in the die casting industry all of his life, primarily as an engineer. He loved gardening, fishing, feeding birds, watching wildlife and his grandchildren.  He was a member of St. Stephen United Methodist Church in Troy.

Funeral services will held at 10 a.m., Friday, Oct. 26, 2012 at Ingersoll  Chapel for Funeral and Cremation Servicess, 211 Boone Street, Troy. Visitation will be from 4 till 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at the funeral chapel. Interment will be in the Old Alexandria Cemetery, north of Troy, Missouri.
