The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported three recent accidents resulting in injuries.
On March 10 there was an accident on Hwy. 47 west of Mo 147 at 4:40 p.m. According to the report, a 2009 Toyota Corolla driven by Ronald Dudley, 63, of Troy slowed for an emergency vehicle and his vehicle was struck from behind by a 2010 Honda Civic driven by Alyssa Collins, 18, of Foley. Both were using their seat belts at the time of the accident.
Collins was taken by ambulance to the Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy. Dudley was not injured.
The second accident occurred March 14 on westbound I-64 at Highway 141 at 4:15 p.m. According to the report, a 2000 Jeep Cherokee driven by Ashli Blair, 16, of St. Peters made an unsafe lane change and the right rear of this vehicle struck the left front of a 2003 Dodge 3500 driven by Vicky Shafer, 60, of Troy. The Jeep overturned and came to rest off the right side of the roadway. Blair was not in her seat belt but Shafer was using one.
Blair was transported by ambulance to Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur. Her injuries were listed as serious.
The third accident occurred March 15 on Rahmier Road just north of Route C at 6:29 p.m. A 1993 Jeep Wrangler driven by Marilou Tatum traveled off the right side of the roadway, returned to the roadway where it overturned, coming to rest on its top She was using a seat belt at the time of the accident.
She was taken by private conveyance to Lincoln County Medical Center. Her injuries were listed as minor.
