Three people were injured early Sunday morning in a traffic accident in Lincoln County, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The accident occurred on Highway 47 at North Chantilly Road at the time of 7:50 a.m.
According to the report, a 2003 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Amanda Always, 18, of Wentzville, was southbound on North accident was 7:55 a.m.
Pegg was driving south on Hwy. 79 in a 1998 Chevrolet S-10 when the vehicle went off the roadway. As the driver overcorrected, the vehicle re-entered the road, crossed both lanes of traffic and exited the roadway again and overturned. He was not using his seat belt.
He was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph Hospital West. His injuries were listed as moderate.
