The Troy Ducks Unlimited Chapter hosted its spring membership dinner on Saturday March 29 at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds.
The membership dinner is open to the public to buy tickets and enjoy drinks, dinner, and a one-year membership to Ducks Unlimited. During the dinner there were games, raffles, live and silent auctions to participate in.
Area Chairman, Shane Creasy, would like to thank the following for being a sponsor in the event: American Family Insurance, Bank Of Old Monroe, Chubby’s Restaurant, Head Hunters Archery, Flynn Drilling, Davenport Tomoko & Butler LLC, Mr. Tom McCrakin and Mr. Robert Helmig.
The Troy Ducks Unlimited Chapter currently has nine volunteers on their committee and are always welcoming more. As a chapter they are looking for dedicated, conservation minded people to join their award winning volunteer staff. Troy, Mo. and the surrounding areas are a great place to watch migrating birds of all species and to hunt waterfowl, this is why Troy Ducks Unlimited has a great future because it’s backed by a great community.
